I am looking for PA’s to take over a domiciliary care round that I have already up and running.
This round may suit 1 or 2 PA’s.
Client 1: based off Magdalene Road. 7 hours per week. 2 calls a day morning between 7.30 – 8.00am for 30 mins. Tea call anytime between 5 and 7pm for 30 mins. This call is some personal care, food prep, tidying etc. This is a female
Client 2: based in St Thomas: 15.75 hours per week. Morning call 8.45 for 45 mins, lunch on a Tuesday and Thursday at 12.pm for 30 mins. Tea call at 5pm for 30 mins. Bed call between 8 – 830 for 30 mins. This client goes to Age Concern on a Monday, Weds and Fri so no lunch call. This is a male. All personal care, food prep etc.
Client 3: based in Whipton. 19.25 hours per week. Morning call 10-11am Lunch call 12.45 for 45 mins. Tea call 6pm for 30 mins and bed call at 9pm for 30 mins. This is a female. All personal care, food prep etc. This lady has very little mobility.
Client 4: based in St Thomas. 3 hours per week. Mon, Weds and Fri. at 11.15 (flexible) for 1 hour. This is a male. Cleaning, hair wash, personal care some shopping.
Client 5: based in Whipton 1 hour per week 2 x 30 min calls on a Mon and Fri or Tues and Fri. Shower.

2. Personal Assistant to support Deaf woman in Teignbridge area
Caring and friendly Personal Assistant required to support and enable a 30 year old Deaf female who uses British Sign Language to live independently. You must have good communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude. You will need to be good at reassuring and encouraging others in an empowering way.
Up to 15 hours per week- flexible days and occasional evenings. You must be proficient in British Sign Language level 2 or equivalent.

4. Carer required in Torquay
Experienced carers required to form a team to look after an elderly couple in their own home in Torquay.
Hours 8am to 4pm, 4pm to 10pm and 10pm to 8am (sleeper).
Flexibility will also be required to cover holiday and sickness.

Duties: Companion sought to meet for a couple of hours per week with a gentleman to chat, reminisce. look at old photo albums, read aloud books.
Would prefer a non-smoker. The position would suit someone with similar interests. Ability to engage with the gentleman on a personal level is important to provide companionship.
About the person needing companionship: gentleman with a particular interest in the forces (especially the RAF) ; sports; sailing; birds and gardening. He has minimal short term memory but is able to converse with prompts. He is physically frail, only able to walk short distances (e.g. chair to bed) with a walking frame.

10. Care-Worker Needed in Witheridge
Ongoing twice daily care for normally spry (if forthright!) 95 year old lady. Mentally alert. Recent spell in hospital following a fall and resultant dislocated shoulder three or four weeks ago has resulted in carers from NHS being provided after her release from hospital. That service is now about to end and we are looking for someone to takeover on a permanent ongoing basis.
Daily morning and evening visits (45 mins and 30 mins respectively) in Brooke Road Witheridge. Until shoulder mended, help with dressing and undressing morning and evening and cutting up food for the day. Once shoulder mended, more of a supervisory role, including shopping and general overseeing - we would particularly like somebody just to be there while she showers etc.

14. Female Personal Enablers required in Paignton
We are looking for a team of Personal Enablers to support a young woman with learning difficulties at her home for 6 days a week from Monday 10am to Sunday 9am. Each enabler to work a total of 22 hours spread over 3 shifts throughout the week with some flexibility, and including 1 sleeping night.
Briefly, the work consists of driving her car and using public transport to various activities and places of interest as well as some light domestic duties and personal care consisting mainly of prompting and monitoring.
Applicants must have held a clean driving licence for at least one year and be over 21 years of age.
The rate of pay will be £9.50 per hour rising to £10 per hour after a 3 month trial period. (£9.00 rising to £9.50 if below 25 yrs. of age.)
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by the employer.
