Time to Talk is a telephone and online service, provided by a friendly team who listen and offer peer support, provide information and advice, and signpost or refer to other appropriate services.

Free Telephone, Online Support and Webcam Support Service
Do you ever have feelings of isolation or loneliness? Low mood or anxiety? You might want someone to talk to who can help you find ways to meet new people or help you to maintain or regain your sense of wellbeing and enjoyment of life. Time to Talk’s friendly team is ready to listen to you and help you to find support and services local to you.
You can ring us, or we can ring you, and we can also provide a video chat service (webcam) if you would prefer to talk to us that way. We provide time-limited support (up to a maximum of 6 hours) but are flexible in how our support is delivered.

Mental health support organisations:
- Devon Partnership Trust – First Response Service
The First Response Service (FRS) provides a service seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is an urgent mental health service for people with mental health and learning disability needs.
Call 111 and select the mental health option if you are concerned about feeling unsafe, are very distressed or you have used First Response services and there are signs of a mental health relapse. - Samaritans – available 24/7.
They offer a supportive conversation around a whole range of mental health issues and also offer a call back service and follow up calls.

- CALM is the Campaign Against Living Miserably
For people in the UK who are down or have hit a wall for any reason.
It is a leading movement against suicide and a men’s support service.
